What Membrain does

Membrain gives technical guidance on waterproofing, for existing buildings and new construction. You can get free guidance from photos and a few questions, and you can buy paid services such as quotation reviews, site visits, specifications and checks of work in progress.

We do not carry out, contract for or supervise repair, waterproofing or painting work. You choose your contractor, and your contractor is responsible for the work.

Guidance from photos is advice, not certainty

Guidance prepared from photos and your answers is remote advice, not a site inspection. Our AI identifies the likely problem, and every method we suggest comes from manufacturer-approved systems, but we cannot see everything a photo does not show. Before work starts, confirm the points we ask you to check, and get a site visit where the cause is unclear.

Where there are signs of a structural or safety problem, such as large or widening cracks, or exposed or rusting steel, stop and consult a qualified structural engineer. Do not rely on Membrain alone.

Products and manufacturers

We name products from third-party manufacturers. The manufacturer's own instructions, data sheets and warranty terms apply to their products. Membrain is not the manufacturer and does not give product warranties.

Checks of work

When you ask us to check work, we check the stages you book, based on what we see or what is shown to us at that time. A completed check is not a guarantee that the whole job was done correctly, and it does not transfer the contractor's responsibility to us.

Site visits

Site visits are available only in Vadodara, in the PIN codes we serve. Someone must give our team safe access to the areas to be inspected.

Your account and your content

Give accurate information and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.

Upload only photos and documents you have the right to share. They stay yours; you allow us to use them to provide and improve our services, as described in our privacy policy.

Do not misuse Membrain, for example by uploading unlawful content, trying to break into the service or copying it in bulk.

Payments and refunds

Prices for paid services are shown before you pay. Some paid services are checked by our team before delivery, and delivery times are estimates that depend on the information you provide. Refunds follow our refund policy.

Our responsibility

We provide Membrain with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses arising from work carried out by contractors, from products, or from information you gave us that was incomplete or wrong. Our total responsibility for any paid service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer law.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any problem. If we cannot, the courts in Vadodara, Gujarat will have jurisdiction.
